Discovery Design at 20: A Look Back At Our Previous Websites

It goes without saying that the online landscape has changed drastically over the last 2 decades. Huge advancements in design, code, technology and online interactions have allowed for many changes in the way we think about and design websites.

These days it’s easy to find well designed, clean websites that offer beautiful imagery and simple animations, but that also function well, serving the purpose, whilst also offering visitors a great experience. Back in the late nineties and early noughties, however, things were much different, not only was the web more basic, but the way in which websites were designed was too! 

In honour of our 20th year, we’re taking a look at the evolution of our own website, from our first ever site, through to our current website design. 

And so ends our journey through 2 decades worth of our websites, we come a long way since our initial launch. Over time not only have design trends changed, but we’ve also picked up many new skills and gained more experience within the world of web design, thus allowing us to create websites that just keep on improving both visually and in achieving results.
