Introducing The Project

Based in Yorkshire, White Rose Modelworks produce model railway baseboards and layouts to suit each individual's requirements. As well as providing baseboards and layouts to customers, White Rose Modelworks also offer a number of services to their customers in order to help them create a layout that suits their needs. 

When White Rose Modelworks came to us they were looking to not only redevelop their existing site as it no longer represented the business but also to grow their business and reach new audiences. 

The Solution

Following our initial research, we carried out extensive research into the market, researching the audience and the product, as well as discovering what similar businesses in the industry were offering, from here we could then start developing the site to be suitable for the industry.

In order for the brand to be perceived as a premium brand, we also carried out some minor brand enhancements, such as developing a logo for the Wensleydale Woodsmith Range, to ensure each company is distinct. As well as developing this logo we used the brand colours throughout the project, however, modernised how they were used. 

We also worked at tackling the logistical challenges of the business,  ensuring that the product can be delivered at a fair cost to the customer. 

The Result 

Overall White Rose Modelworks are happy with the website we built and were happy that it represented the business, as well as showed off what they have to offer.
